Welcome to the biddulphdoctors
website!
biddulphdoctors is a GP Doctors'
surgery based in the Staffordshire Moorlands town of Biddulph.
It is our aim to provide for all patients, a comprehensive General
Practitioner Service. To this end we work in co-operation with other
health professionals - the Practice Nurse, the District Nurses,
Health Visitors, the Community Midwives, the Social Workers, the
Community Psychiatric Nurse and the Counsellor.
The practice has been in existence and evolving steadily since the
early part of last century and consists of four full time and two
part time doctors. The surgery is purpose built and has been
modernised and enlarged with a consequent improvement in facilities
and services. There are facilities for the disabled, a children's
play area, pram park and generous parking.
This website is intended
as a source of information for our patients and contains some links
we think might be useful. All of our services and the ways
to use them are described on the How
do I...? and Clinics
pages. Any new developments in the medical world and
changes in our procedures will be found on the Practice
news page
This
practice is a research practice, and works in partnership with the
internationally renowned Arthritis Research Campaign National Primary
Care Centre at Keele University (http://www.keele.ac.uk/research/pchs/pcmrc/).
The practice helps researchers at Keele to develop their ideas to
ensure that the research addresses questions that are important to
the Health Service, and meet the needs of patients who suffer from
painful conditions of their joints, bones and muscles. For more information
